Massachusetts Genealogy Crash Course: Find Your Bay State Ancestors OnDemand Webinar

I have been researching in the south for decades and just recently located an ancestor who was born in Massachusetts and moved to Missouri by 1845. The town clerk system of record keeping was confusing to me. I had already learned from census research and newspaper articles at GenealogyBank that his family remaining in MA had moved frequently in the Connecticut Valley including into Vermont. After listening to the webinar, I decided to change my guest research status with the NEGHS to full membership. Within a few hours of completing the webinar, I had many of the birth, marriage and death records I needed without taking a long, expensive trip that I could not make at this time. Now that I have located a brother, nieces & nephews, I am well on my way to locating his parents. I may even get to take that research trip at a later date to see where my new set of roots were located.
