- Very portable! Review by RosieNC
You will need to spend some time becoming familiar with this little device. You can't beat the portability of it, and it was pretty simple to get on to. I didn't even prepare ahead of time when I first used it, but I wish I did. I could have gotten some more out of my visit to an historical society. Like the other reviewing mentioned, I was a little taken aback when I first saw how small it was, but for how nice and compact it is, I don't mind sacrificing and having to scan large items in sections. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it went to "stitch" the images together later. I wish their was a better simple manual for it though with step by step pictures to illustrate how to operate it and how to do the stitching. I did purchase the pen and the clear write on sheet and I really like having that for documenting on the go. I hope the price comes down as the technology improves, but this is a great little addition to my genie travel bag. -all I wish there were more options for dpi's. I think there are only two, 300 and 600. It would be great to have more powerful options on the selection of dpi's or better, yet, to be able to customize the amount of dpi's.

- good tool to have Review by Patty
The flip pal isn't as large as I had anticipated, but it is a very handy tool to have when visiting libraries where you have to pay to make any copies. It helps me avoid having to take time to write everything down that I find and gives me more time for research.
