The first time I encountered handwritten German church books, I nearly gave up — the scrawls looked like an entirely different alphabet! This four-page cheat sheet is the resource I wish I’d had from the get-go: Its quick-reference alphabet charts of various German scripts are super helpful for decoding cryptic German records.

Not quite what I expected Review by Georgianne

While this is not exactly what I was expecting (useful websites), it was well worth the money in help figuring out records in German and finding locations in what was then Germany!
